About the role

We are seeking a Surgical Registrar with a strong interest in Colorectal Surgery to join a dedicated and collaborative surgical team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated clinician looking to further develop their skills in colorectal surgery while working closely with experienced consultants in a supportive teaching environment.

You will be an integral role in delivering high-quality inpatient care as part of a multidisciplinary team, working closely with nursing, allied health and medical colleagues to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients. Strong communication skills, teamwork and a patient-centred approach are essential. This role is offered on a fulltime fixed term basis on either a 12- or 24-month contract

You will hold current registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) and bring a minimum of three years’ experience working within a clinical hospital setting. This foundation will enable you to confidently contribute to patient care while continuing to build on your clinical judgement and professional capability in a supportive environment.

You will have a strong interest in pursuing a career in surgical training, supported by relevant clinical exposure and practical procedural experience. Your experience will align with the responsibilities of a Registrar, enabling you to confidently manage patient care, assist in surgical and perioperative activities, and contribute positively to a collaborative surgical team while continuing to develop your skills.

What we can offer:

Salary: $122,740 to $175,802 per annum, plus 12% superannuation

Professional development allowance $11,721 pro rata per Annum if part time

Salary packaging up to $18,550 on a range of benefits such as mortgage, rent, meal entertainment, holiday accommodation or other everyday living expenses as well as options to salary package benefits above the FBT cap on items such as:
