· Exposure to a wide range of clinical situations requiring independent decision making, with close consultant support

· Active teaching and research programs in place, with expectation of contributions by the successful applicant(s)

· Simulation scenarios are regularly run on the ward and in outpatients at the Sunshine site and registrars are rostered to attend in protected teaching time

Western Health also provides the primary healthcare service at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre, a women’s prison located in Ravenhall.
