MDP2 $99,707 to $158,523 p.a. + super + salary packaging

Part-time (68.4hrs per fortnight), temporary role for 12 months (July 2028 - June 2029)

Term of the Contract: 3 years or until working visa expiry date (in line with clause 55 of the Salaried Medical Officers Enterprise Agreement). At the end of the temporary role, CALHN will work with the employee to assist find a suitable placement within SA Health for the remainder of the 3-year contract, if necessary.

About the Role

Join our Orthopaedics team as a Joint Replacement Fellow, providing high quality care across inpatient and outpatient services. You’ll build your surgical expertise, support junior doctors, contribute to research and help shape better patient outcomes.

Manage inpatient and outpatient care across Joint Replacement

Lead clinical reviews, audits and quality improvement projects

Teach, supervise and mentor junior medical staff

Drive designated research projects within Orthopaedics

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care

About You

You’ll bring strong clinical capability, a collaborative approach and a commitment to excellent patient care. To thrive in this role, you’ll have:

MBBS or equivalent, with AHPRA registration or eligibility

Clinical skills suited to Orthopaedics and Joint Replacement

Experience supervising, supporting and guiding junior doctors

Strong communication, negotiation and complaint resolution skills

Knowledge of hospital systems, policies and clinical services
