I’m hoping to apply to BPT at one of the big 4 in Sydney (specifically POW or RNSH as I have lots of family in those areas + career prospects).
Worked at RNSH for a long time (non-surgical) good hospital, but they are notorious for only hiring from their only intern/resident cohort for SMRO spots.

NBH is the big let down in the network, there’s been lots of press recently about and the culture is changing for the worse BUT as a JMO across the networkyou’re protected a lot from that, but your regs are just going to be more jaded there than Hornsby.
It has every subspecialty, generally a good culture, lower north shore is a nice part of sydney to live.

I've heard Reg's who've gone through Hornsby/RNS say no nights for Interns, very manageable patient lists, good teaching, well supported by seniors etc.
