In one paragraph

Gates are 26 weeks urology at PGY2+, 26 weeks 'surgery in general' at PGY2+ and 10 weeks ED at PGY1+ - the lowest PGY floor of the nine, so PGY3 application is genuinely possible. Long regarded as 'the accessible one'; the 2026 intake ran 61 applications to 17 offers and appointments have fallen 24 -> 19 -> 16, so that reputation is decaying. Max 4 attempts.

Two cautions, two encouragements

The pay is great. Reg years you'll earn 200k + while all your OT. Applying will cost you a lot of money in courses/conferences etc. We estimated spending close to 100k on all of this (not exaggerating).

Pay 1

The pay is great. Reg years you'll earn 200k + while all your OT. Applying will cost you a lot of money in courses/conferences etc. We estimated spending close to 100k on all of this (not exaggerating).
