I am looking at psychiatry registrar jobs in Perth at both SJOG Midland & Bentley (EMHS), but have never worked at either.

There’s also SJOG private (midland and Murdoch) but I’m not familiar with application process for this.

so u can always get a tertiary job in PGY2 after doing intern year at midland/joondy etc (met a couple PGY2’s at midland who applied for anaesthetics RMO jobs at one of the tertiary’s and got the job so working at the tertiary isn’t required pre-req for the anaesthetics RMO jobs)

There are also anaesthetic service reg positions in some peripheral hospitals (Armadale, Midland, Bunbury, Joondalup, Geraldton) but these are competitive and you’d probably need some anaesthetics experience before you could do these jobs as they’re predominantly service provision positions to fill roster gaps.

JHC, Midland, Rockers, Armadale (you’ll probably have most luck here) & FSH all have paeds within their EDs (to varying extents) but you typically can’t get a job in Paeds ED only you cover it all so your daily paeds exposure can vary.
