I've only worked at WCH and have heard the culture at LMH & FMC is less supportive.

I'm not NALHN based (elsewhere in Adelaide) but I hear lots of excellent reviews of the support and training for interns and residents at LMH

Internship at NALHN involves working predominantly at LMH but it is likely will have a rotation at MPH (and there is the option of doing a rural rotation).

Pope's problem is that he works in NALHN EDs which are geographically unattractive for recruitment efforts and, as its EM, it relies on a steady stream of transient medical staff to maintain the integrity of the training pyramid scheme.

CALHN and SALHN are generally considered to have better BPT teaching and higher exam pass rates, but in recent years have also heard good things about NALHN.

I haven’t worked in NALHN in years but it was very well supported for juniors (less so for seniors) and I believe there are lots of new young consultants working there now and have heard there is a good energy especially on the medical side.
