In saying that, the Mater has a crit care SHO job and their and word is that people going through it have an excellent chance of getting into training the following year

As someone that used to work at the mater when VAD came in though, they don’t offer it but they are obligated to facilitate it in a roundabout way.
O+G is at most hospitals, RB, Mater, Redcliffe, Logan, GCUH etc, can’t remember which are offered to interns or not, but I’ve heard good things about the Logan O+G team.

I’m not sure if the OP is talking about Mater though either, because I did an O&G term as an intern and we definitely had inpatients occasionally who were there for management of miscarriages/retained products of conception, and definitely offered D&C for them when it was indicated.
