I worked at a non-Bendigo regional hospital which had the same thing.
The only way I can see this going is ACEM making places like Tamworth and Bendigo count as rural and they become like the Victorian trauma centres where literally every Victorian registrar has to rotate through during training if they want to stay in the state.

If you start in Bendigo, you might have to accept the possibility you come to Queensland as a rotational resident SHO to try and build towards PHO/Reg positions

I am likely going to have a secondment rotation at Echuca Regional Health next year, but main employer is Bendigo Health.
I know that Bendigo can support all requirements of ACEM training (apart from tertiary trauma - has to be RMH/Alfred) and they sometimes rotate you out to Echuca.

It's a rather rural hospital located in Northern Victoria, apparently would have to likely go there as an external rotation from Bendigo Health lol as a PGY3.

I also wouldn't put too much weight into "100% exam pass rate" claims as I'm sure people have heard of, basically all the top Victorian BPT hospitals (RMH, Alfred, Austin, even Bendigo) have achieved this.
