The Austin Hospital & Alfred both also do phenomenal work in terms of supporting timely transfer of patients from Ambulances and both have their practices available online I believe.
Austin Health is a great hospital to train at - large tertiary centre but with a pretty friendly supportive culture.

All of the real anaesthetic hmo3/srmo jobs (at least for Austin/St Vs/Alfred/Monash/RMH/Western which basically covers the vast majority of people who get onto the program) are controlled by the anaesthetic department rather than workforce - hence any job that functions like this is mostly there to provide bodies for…
There are some registrar level jobs that are research focused (I've seen Endocrinology Research Registrar at The Austin, Emergency Research Registrar at The Alfred) but it's more common to see research fellow positions.

Still possible to move hospitals in PGY2 - a lot of my friends who went rural ended up doing BPT/surg at the big RMH/Alfred/Austin/St Vs.
I've met many reg's who did pgy1-3 at austin/alfred/rmh and still had to go rural for their first ortho reg years

Austin is further out, has a nice workplace culture and generally quite mature systems which means it runs well.
The Austin has its reputation for a reason: the case mix is outstanding, there’s a strong academic and research culture, and you’ll work alongside some excellent clinicians.

I also wouldn't put too much weight into "100% exam pass rate" claims as I'm sure people have heard of, basically all the top Victorian BPT hospitals (RMH, Alfred, Austin, even Bendigo) have achieved this.
